READY FOR TAKEOFF!

We use so many different apps to book our flights! It’s REALLY difficult to pare it down to just a few.

Campground Views

Momondo is a great tool for finding domestic and foreign flights at a FANTASTIC price! You can also find your hotel and transportation here.

Skyscanner

Skyscanner is another great airline tool searching multiple airlines and websites. It’s also a one-stop shop for flights, hotels and transportation.

Kayak

I love to use kayak.com/explore to hunt for exciting and cheap places to go! Just set your budget and travel time and see what happens.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Whether you’re going on a weekend trip away, or headed to Europe for a few weeks, these sites are our best recommendations for lodging.

Hotels.com

We love hotels.com because you can build up rewards. For every 10 stays, you get one free! That’s a win in my book!

AirBNB

I LOVE using AirBNB for lodging, especially for last minute deals! It’s just much more personal than hotel rooms. Click on the logo for a $40 coupon for first-time users!

Hostelworld

Everyone seems to think Hostelworld is all about dorm rooms. While you can book dorm rooms quite inexpensively, you can also get private rooms at a great price!

GETTING AROUND

Once you get to where you’re going, you’ll need to get around. Here are our best resources for transportation.

Good Sam

Good Sam Club

Good Sam memberships costs $27/year. You can use it at over 2,100 parks and campgrounds for a 10% discount. You can also use your membership for RV accessories, fuel, LP gas & more!

Reserve America

Reserve America provides online reservations for campsites all over North America. You can also get info on hunting and fishing licenses, and nearby activities as well.

Passport America

Passport America is a camping club that offers 50% discount at participating parks all over the U.S., Canada, and parts of Mexico. Membership costs $44/year.

EVERYTHING ELSE

I know many people prefer the all-in-one stop shops. Here is where you’ll find that as well as travel insurance…don’t leave home without that!

Gas Buddy

Gas Buddy is available for both iPhones and Androids. Their website has a nifty tool that allows you to plan for gas costs for your trip. This is ESPECIALLY fantastic for long trips!

Waze

Waze is an incredible “community-based traffic and navigation app.” Know where incidents (and police) are before you reach them. 😀 I often use it during rush hour at home as well!

Roadtrippers

Roadtrippers is a great trip planner. We love it because you can find interesting things to do, or find restaurants and gas stations. This is a great app for to use all along your route! Only available for iOS!
